Šiauliai University Lithuania

Šiauliai University is the biggest university in the Northern Lithuania and belongs both to regional and classical types. The University was founded in 1997 after the merger of Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute and Šiauliai Polytechnic Faculty of Kaunas University of Technology. The university has a community of around 4000 students and 300 academic staff, with 3 faculties and 2 institutes. These are faculty of Social Science, Humanities and Arts, Faculty of Technology, Physical and Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Education Science and Social Welfare, Research Institute and Continuing Studies Institute.
